'The Canterbury Tales' is one ...Dear Fiona<br /><br />'The Canterbury Tales' is one of my all-time favourite reads and 'Telling Tales' sounds like an intriguing update. I agree it's very surprising that it hasn't found its way onto more prize shortlists. I have requested (and received) three poetry books for Christmas: Clive James' 'Poetry Notebook'. the 'Collected Poems of Michael Donaghy' and Don Paterson's 'Smith' which I am currently hugely enjoying.<br /><br />Season's Greetings from Simon R.
