My wife Rusty and I have recently set up a poetry page on Facebook called Poetry Pageant. Anyone and everyone is welcome to post their poems there if they wish. Good luck with your editorship!

Best wishes from Simon R. He knows there are other ways of doing it. But it doesn’t take him long, and, as you suggest, he gets to understand more about poetry that way. Part of the editorial process.

I like typing out poems too – I do it sometimes, for the enjoyment of inhabiting the poem in a different way. Helena Nelson’s written about the same thing.

I wonder how the software manages indented lines. £60 is quite a lot of money – though not for a whole novel, when one considers the alternative!
Fiona Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10052038869211775919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1648230750208763565.post-20401989297055946102013-10-21T10:25:57.776+01:002013-10-21T10:25:57.776+01:00I find it a little odd that 'every time there&...I find it a little odd that 'every time there's a new issue, Michael has to type out around sixty poems from the paper copies'. There are places that will convert hard copy into Word files quickly and cheaply (I recently had a whole novel made into a Word file for under £60); and there's some fairly cheap OCR software available if you want to do it yourself. On the other hand, typing out a poem is a fine way to get to know that poem intimately, and maybe that's why he does it.charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16580118367334638930noreply@blogger.com
